Sheriff, Have you been working”undercover” on Pond Lane?
Sheriff Manning why were you at Michelle’s residence on Memorial Day Weekend, 2007 until 10:00 pm? It must have been “serious business” because you were there for 4 hours. Why were you also at Michelle’s house on a weekday before Memorial Day for two hours in the middle of the day? Another undercover operation no doubt. You have been seen at Michelle’s house by respectable members of the community from 5 to 8 times – for at least an hour and sometimes for over 2 hours per visit. These “meetings” took place during the 3 or 4 months before July of 2007. Hmm, the lawsuit was filed in July and you haven’t been seen there since then. Must have solved the case. Pray tell what case was it that you were working on since Michelle hasn’t made an arrest for several years now.
Mac, could this be why Michelle hasn’t been fired??
Why is it that neither the Pitt County Sheriffs Office, the SBI or anyone in the media is telling you this?? I don’t know either. This is sad. It doesn’t make anyone connected with the Pollard family happy to be in this position. Do you think you would ever find it out if we didn’t tell you??

I would have thought by now her fee should have increased since she got her husband insurance money. Well, we can see that she got more than $5000 out of Mac. She got promoted and she got extra incentives like house calls and dinners. Dang, she should be arrested for soliciting.

well it is funny that she is still working. i know of a few deputies that were put on leave and even fired because someone accused them of things. i mean we are talking about things that were never proven, he said she said. when this happens deputies are put on leave ( with no badge or gun ) while an inquirey/investigation is being conducted or going on. all there access to the sheriffs office computers and other things are revoked during this time so that they can not use sheriffs office resources to conduct there own investion or even help there cause. if mac manning is going to let her work and is even passing all this off as rumors, than maybe he should call those others deputies he fired cause of rumors and give then there job back. Mac even told these deputies they were hard working but that he had to let them go because the situation looked bad. Well this situation looks really bad and she is still employed? WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all let me say I am sorry for your loss. The whole truth about Pitt Counties not so wonderful sheriff comes to light. First of all this man is a liar, he lies in the courtroom and to the Pitt County Commissioners. He doesn’t have the slightest clue as to what is going on in his department. When asked by county commissioner about something he has to ask someone else. How do I know this? I have been to County Commissioner meetings and seen this in action. In the courtroom he lies so bad that some of his deputies leave and say they can not believe he lies the way he does. If he knew what was going on in his department or cared, a break-in I had a few years ago would have been solved or at least investigated properly but yet no follow-up was ever done. Secondly he would know that 2 of his officers are hanging out at a camper at Tranters Creek Resort while on duty visiting a young lady. He has officers working at a strip bar on Whichard-Cherry Road. On most days at the R.W. Moore intersection on highway 264 you can get behind marked car #210 and get past Beaufort County Hospital in about 15 minutes, he runs 70-75 the entire way, with no lights flashing. Our sheriff wants to patrol the Tar River, ALE, Highway Patrol and every other agencies job. More people need to know what kind of person the man that calls himself a member of St. James Church really is. He did my family wrong and lied about them, causing their business to close and I hope he one day gets the justice he deserves. Thank you for your website. Way to go Sam!!!! I know what you’re talking about because I’ve seen it too many times. It’s sad, but I guess those Deputies didn’t have “pictures” to blackmail him with. The last time I checked, blackmail is a crime too!!! She just keeps adding things to the list.

you know i can tell you for a fact that if this was a man in this situation he would have been fired along time ago. Some women ( but not all ) have their way at the sheriffs office. they flip there hair, shake their butt and smile pretty to get promoted or to get things they want done from the higher ups. i have seen it first hand. You know Mac what is good for one should be good for all. And it is about time that for all those people he has screwed over, finally get there justice. Now dont get me wrong there are some damn good deputies at the sheriffs office men and women alike. But the way he is sheltering M. Pollard makes it look really fishy, specially when he would send his past deputies down stream without even backing then up.

Thank you to Michelle Yoder for coming forward. You never know what detail will help. For example, Ms. Michelle Yoder — who is on the video — confirmed for us today that Michelle Pollard stayed in her own room at the Comfort Inn in Havelock both on 12/30/05 and 12/31/05 (the month after Stacey died). Ms. Yoder slept in her room with her current husband while Michelle Pollard stayed in a different room. She says they checked into different rooms and stayed in different rooms each night. This is very important because M. Pollard has been telling people that 6 people were in the motel room with her and Ray Thompson — the convicted felon who was still residing with his wife, Teresa. Are you hearing this Mac? On 1/1/07 Ray Thompson moved out of his wife’s residence. A couple weeks later someone broke into Teresa’s vehicle and stole the written private investigative report detailing Ray and M. Pollard’s activities at the motel. Until today we did not know that M. Pollard was complicit with Ray Thompson in the theft of the report. We now know because M. Yoder told us that she read the report at Michelle Pollard’s house. She said M. Pollard had it on the counter and that it was her understanding that Ray Thompson had acquired it somehow. Folks, this is a crime. Shall we take bets on whether anyone does anything about it???
Another interesting aspect of M. Yoder’s statement is that she moved to Florida on June 9th, 2006 — which is 1 day after M. Pollard flunked her lie detector and 1 day before Ray Thompson got up and walked out on his lie detector. Oh, M. Yoder admits to living with M. Pollard for 2 weeks prior to Stacey’s death but is certain that she moved into Majette’s trailer park a few days before Stacey died. She also thinks that she was at Stacey’s house the day Stacey died but can’t remember if it was that evening, afternoon or at noon. M. Yoder and Ray Thompson rode together back to M. Pollard’s house that night after Stacey was pronounced dead at the hospital. Michelle Pollard, Michelle Yoder and Ray Thompson were all together at the Pollard residence that night. Those 3 were together again on New Years Eve weekend. The following June one of those 3 flunked a lie detector; one refused to take one and one moved to Florida the day after M. Pollard flunked hers. Do you remember that M. Pollard said in her first story that she was instant messaging her sister for 30 minutes to 1 hour before finding her husband? Her story to the SBI is that she pushed her husband in as a joke and then ran in the house and locked the doors for 10 to 15 minutes before she came out and found Stacey floating? Was she lying about instant messaging her sister or was someone else at the computer???

I can’t believe no one ran against Mac! He is too busy politicking around Pitt County than to actually solve this crime. He’s on a perpetual run for re-election when he SHOULD be reviewing why his office allowed this investigation to stray so far off the right course.

Maybe everyone should start emailing local tv stations and the Reflector and ask why there has not been any coverage since the lawsuit was filed. I sent the website to Fox News and I think it deserves coverage on the big news stations if no one around here will expose it. If it was not for this website, I would definitely not know all that has gone on with this and it is a big eye opener, especially since I have supported Mac up until this point. Thanks to the family for being brave and taking their stand to get to the bottom of this and call all involved out.

i think the reason why the daily rejector is not covering it is because it is owned by mrs mac manning and/or her family. they might have some pull with the other medial outlets in the area as well.
