$5,000.00 REWARD FOR INFO LEADING TO ARREST
$5,000.00 is currently being offered to any individual(s) who provide information leading to the arrest of any individual(s) responsible for the death of Stacey Pollard. Also a “tip line” is being set up for individuals that may want to collect the reward or to leave anonymous tips. It will be a phone line that goes to voice mail and is checked at least daily. We will post that number as soon as it is up and running.
The Pollard family does not believe that either version of events that Lt. Pollard has given is truthful and believe that someone out there may know the truth — or at least more of it than we are being told.
We need you because we continue to find out more disturbing evidence about the lack of any real investigation ever being done. For example, as of last week, no one had “convassed the neighborhood” to see if any of the neighbors knew anything about what happened the night Stacey died. 20 months later and no one even asked the next door neighbors what they knew — one of which was there that night and noted that no crime tape was up and everyone was just walking around like it was Grand Central Station. Also, about the emails from Michelle Pollard; you can do a reverse server lookup and you come up with the server name “Tinkerbell” for Pitt County. Do you think anyone in law enforcement even wants the emails. They are vital because the early emails from Michelle (aka “Sara”) quote some quack about people dying from epilepsy alone and another is about “planted, false memories.” Both Mac and Michelle have been quoting that “crap” to anyone that will listen. Remember the “plausible” explanation for Michelle’s changing stories. It is further proof that they are complicit. It will be part of Michelle’s defense — if she is ever charged criminally.
Also, do you know that the SBI never made a determination of accidental drowning. Yet Mac says it everywhere and no one prints a retraction or a correction. Do you know that drowning is a very difficult forensic determination and that many murders by suffocation have occurred and a body was placed in the water later to make it look like drowning? The book on drowning says that any determination of death by drowning is dependent upon a “detailed, accurate” account of all the facts surrounding the death? You think we have that here? Did you know that not until Mac’s press conference did law enforcement make Michelle’s changing stories of how Stacey died available to the medical examiner? Does all this seem hard to believe to you? Well, it does to us too.
We tell you this not because we are upset about the handling of this matter — which we are. We tell you this because getting the story out is the only thing that has worked. Before filing suit the family tried unsuccessfully for 18 months to get this matter handled properly by those in law enforcement who are entrusted to do so — to no avail. So yes we have chosen to take it to the ”people” and trust that those of you who have information and can help will have the courage to step forward. We all deserve better than this from our elected officials!!!

I forwarded this website to FOX NEWS- maybe Bill or Gretta will pick it up- they seem to be able to get some answers to these mystery cases- the investigation and handling of this case is pathetic and the PITT COUNTY Sheriff’s office in whole need to be questioned and ALL involved in wrong doing need to be terminated!!!!

I agree we need to bring these people down. Somebody in the Sheriffs dept. knows more then what is being told. Cough Cough Michelle. I dont know how this lady was hired to “Protect and Serve”. I woudnt trust her working security at Walmart. I demand this lady lose her job!!!!!!!

I would just like to make everyone aware of the fact that one of Michelle’s 2 college degrees, that supposedly qualifies her for her new position, was from Mount Olive. Pitt County paid for her to go back and forth to Mount Olive on a COUNTY VEHICLE for TWO YEARS!!! I guess our tax dollars are being used wisely????

What advice I could give would be to TELL THE TRUTH to everyone that is questioned. Every inch will be checked and documented. There is a paper trail for everything that is done and every STAY that has happened. It doesn’t matter how long ago it has been…. I CAN FIND EASTER EGG IN AUGUST AND EVEN JANUARY. If you have not told the truth I suggest you come forward and regroup with your story. JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL.

We need a Sheriff who will worry LESS about campaigning for re-election for himself (and other candidates), and will worry MORE about sexual affairs between deputies in his department!
It’s interesting this web site is still functional; it’s almost like he’s perpetually running for re-election rather than helping the people of Pitt County.

The interesting case law page above the complaint and videos tells how to solve this problem. Do you know a sheriff can be removed upon petition signed by 5 people?? Possible grounds for removal are failure to do his job. Think we have grounds? How ’bout having a press conference for a woman when he is going up to her house. Can you think of a legit reason for a married man to “visit” a female employee at her private residence during standard work hours when their offices are downtown about 250 feet apart.

I also sent an email to FoxNews this morning, maybe if they get more, they will actually take a look at it. I think it is a shame that our local media are not even touching it. This deserves national attention if that is what it takes for the truth to come out.

David, If it only takes 5 people!!!!! What are we waiting on???? Can I get a witness, if so lets get the phones ringing at the lawyer office that is handling this case and put it into action. Let bring a new sheriff in town. Then maybe when the commissioner see we are serious they will step up to the plate and help us. If I recall we the people elected them !!! Justice will prevail !!!!!

I am very concerned that the SBI was not called in the first place when a law officer was invovlved!!!!! I have always thought highly of the Pitt County Sheriffs Department and have several good and close friends the work there, but I am a little concerned about Mac Manning not doing something when lies have been told and covered in the department. I am literally shocked at Mac!!!!!

I heard she was asked to take “a little time off” wonder why that is— is it true??? If so, is it because the pressure is finally on to get some answers??? Things just are not adding up. It seems Comm. Coulson is vying for the position of campaign manager for Mac in the elections of ‘08. Did you hear how he was defending him at the Comm. meeting this am. Thank you GLENN BOWEN for having the guts to stand before the Comm. and again attempt to educate them about Mac. You have been privy to a lot of info over the years, tried to relay it and yet it still falls on deaf ears. There are a few who share your views there, but may not want to do what might be “politically incorrect” for them. How long will it take for the others to realize the truth, they must be thick skulled or deaf and blind. This lawsuit is a buzz everywhere not only in this county, but from Raleigh to the coast. I received a call from a friend in Lumberton area this am asking about the case, refered him to the website, after viewing it called me back and asked how all four of them still have jobs. He was appaulled the county commisioners haven’t asked them to step down and appointed someone in the interim until this case is resolved. You know, we in Pitt County have wondered the same thing. By the way, he is in LAW ENFORCEMENT. Soon, the people of Pitt County will file a petition to remove the Sheriff and county commisioners will not have to do their job, this is what they are waiting for. I do want to thank Ms. Ward and Mr. James for asking for answers while the others sit “spinelessly” by!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to let our commissoners know that we will not tolerate that
kind of behavior from the very same person that we trust to “protect and serve”.
SO to answer your question Glen Bowen, yes i know its costing the county
taxpayers money to continue this investigation and it would be cheaper to
clean out the trash. Clean house from top to bottom and as far as Michelle
Pollard is concerned-She is a Disgrace to this community and should be charged
with criminal charges at the least! Or could it be we have another Heidi,with her
little black book of names and porn videos?

I feel as though Mrs Barbara Pollard and her family will finally have “justice4Stacey”. It’s sad but true that there is a huge cover-up with this person that is suppose to protect and serve us. $5000.00 is a lot of money for someone less than 2 years ago got in excess of over $200,000.00 insurance money from his “accidential death”. Stacey ’s family needs to sue the county for that money since the case was not closed according to Officer Dancey’s report, then maybe some of this corruption will cease from these high ranking, fast talking, smart officials!!

I can assure you her little black book is not THAT little. My heart goes out to the wives and the children of people she has been involved with their husband and caused problems in their family. Lisa you are correct at the least criminal charges need to come. Again the Pollard family needs our prayers and need to be put on all the prayer list in the area.JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL !!!!

Thank you so much for giving eveyone those address’s. I have emailed several family members and freinds and they are forwarding as well. They are contacting their news media as we speak. Manning needs to be released from his duties along with all the others that are involved. One that is mentioned that still works for the department is nothing but a drunk. Trust me I know this because I dated him. I also know that she was calling him then.
You just dont know who you can trust any more. We know not the people in the sherriff’s office.

Janice, I think that your last sentence is highly unfair to the people who work at the Sheriff’s office and are there to do their jobs to the best of their abilities. There are some very trustworthy people that work there. You can’t lump everyone together. Let’s remember that.
