Michelle’s Deposition - A Detailed Look Into The Power Of Dreams, Flying Saucers and The Easter Bunny
If you think the title is bizarre, rest assured it’s just the tip of the iceberg. The actual deposition (see “Michelles Deposition” below the Pages Heading on the right) was recently given by none other than our very own Pitt County Sheriff Department’s Lt. Michelle Pollard. Take your time and read it carefully, it’s a large file. When you finish let us know what you think and let us know if you have information that differs from Michelle’s sworn statement or if you see things that are disturbing such as Michelle’s dream defense, or her admission to taking the antianxiety drug ATIVAN (it helps “calm her down”…………., let’s hope it does before she shoots) and last for today her admission to using COCAINE.
Yes after reading the file, it appears that Michelle has pinned her hopes of explaining the events surrounding Stacey’s death on the theory “If you throw enough crap on the wall, maybe some of it will stick.” Sorry Michelle, maybe that works as your “plausible explanation” to those with the power to retain you as an employee or charge you with a crime, but it just doesn’t cut it with those of us knowing the difference between right and wrong……….. heck for that matter night and day.
If, after reading the deposition alone, you’re wondering how Michelle earns cigareete money off the taxpayers of Pitt County as opposed to earning it from her cell mate, join the club. We’re as baffled as you.
While we realize some of our comments may sound cutting and sarcastic, be assured Michelle’s actions and the inactions of others have infuriated Stacey’s family and have fueled their resolve to continue pressing forward in the search for the answers they desire. Again, please read the deposition carefully and let us know if you have any information that will help the Pollard family.

I continue to “smell a rat”, as I did when reading about this case in 2007.
I am totally amazed, that the Greenville Sheriff’s Department would allow someone to work for them with such “low morals”, as this woman appears to have. Nothing this woman did would surprise me.

Why did it take so long for this woman’s law enforcement certification to be revoked? It seems awfully strange that the powers that be could not have done this sooner before she had the time to slander Ms. Barbara and the rest of the family. It is obvious just what kind of woman she is. I think she would do better in the Adult Entertainment sector than the law enforcement sector. There is a payday coming for her, I can assure you.

When are people going to wake up and come to the same belief I have…… the sheriff is covering something for her. When it came up almost 3 years ago that she exposed her breast what did the sheriff do? I was told about her being demoted after the photos surfaced but didn’t he promote her back to her former position shortly after? I also heard she left out much of the truth when asked about it, like going topless, and didn’t fess up until the pictures surfaced. Where does a sheriff’s responsibility fall to put action on HIS employees? Well, I also was told he was cutting her grass 3 weeks ago and that says alot about the situation. If so, he was aware that there were issues 3 weeks, much less 3 months ago when they heard from the Sheriff’s Training and Standards Office, and he still cut her grass and put himself in that situation….what does that say about him as your sheriff in Pitt County? The last comment states I smell a rat well I smell TWO, maybe THREE. Then he wants to make a statement on the news to say her certification has not been revoked and a judge will decide that. HA HA

<p>Well I have just read the deposition…… WOW. Appears she can’t remember anything. How convinent she can’t remember. Now, I’ll bet her excuse will be she is drugged all the time. We as a community need to know a court day so we as Stacey supporters can be there for the family. Then take a look at her myspace page…… She is all Christian now. The Lord has a purpose for her… you should read it……(didn’t seem to be fulfilling that purpose at Pirates Pub a few nights back……yeah we know). She states that no one has ever been though stuff like her and survived. Well honey I got news for u ALOT of people have lived though worse. I think all the stuff that has happened she brought on her own self….. I can promise you one thing JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL. I still smell that rat. A special THANKS to David Sutton for all the stuff he has survived and continues dealing with on a daily basis. Keep up the good work David……When justice is served you and your family need a vacation! God bless your wife also. By the way can we be present for her hearing for appeal in Hailfax County?</p>

Emily, The deposition is incredulous and creates even more questions. Fortunately, David Sutton refuses to quit until the truth is uncovered….wish there were more like him. We’re unsure as to the court date as of now but we’ll post the trial date and appeal date with details as soon as we know. Thanks for caring.
